To access the funding <br />allocated to the City of La Porte, GLO requires submission of a Non-Housing Project Application detailing <br />-housing projects to repair or mitigate damage that occurred during the <br />Presidentially declared Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) 4223-DR-TX (2015 Memorial <br />Day) and FEMA 4245-DR-TX (2015 Halloween) disasters. <br /> <br />Additionally, to qualify an application activity under the CDBG-DR requirements, the project must <br />principally benefit those of low and moderate income areas, and consist of projects that fail to function <br />during the declaration period. <br /> <br />Staff submitted the application to the GLO on August 27, 2018 for drainage improvements in the <br />Northside Neighborhood within the Little Cedar Bayou (F216) Watershed. On September 20, 2018, the <br />GLO delivered comments to Staff and requested additional information, with a follow-up submittal <br />deadline date of September 27, 2018. <br />ACTION REQUIRED <br />Receive report. <br />Approved for Drainage Committee Agenda <br /> <br />Corby D.
