<br />Mr. Wingate noted the drainage impact analysis was under review and that it is anticipated <br />that an USACE(U.S. Corps of Engineers)wetlands permit will be required, as there are <br />existing wetlands on the project site. Regarding the detention ponds planned to be <br />constructed by Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) within the Brookglen <br />subdivision, Mr. Wingate confirmed that HCFCD was waiting on CenterPoint to relocate <br />services and provide a letter of no objection, prior to submitting a ROW abandonment <br />request to the COLP. <br /> <br />d. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the Harris County Flood <br />Control <br />related to flooding in the City of La Porte. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of <br />Public Works\] <br /> <br />Mr. Wingate said he is waiting to hear more on channel B106-02-00 cleanup, at Driftwood. <br /> <br />e. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the status of current <br />drainage projects. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] <br /> <br />Mr. Wingate said most projects are in preliminary design and briefly addressed progress <br />of additional projects. He also provided drainage information on a new development at <br />McCabe Road and Broadway. <br /> <br />f. Presentation, discussion, and possible action to provide administrative staff of the <br />City with direction, if necessary, regarding additional drainage concerns. \[Lorenzo <br />Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] <br /> <br />Councilperson Williams said she has spoken to the City Manager about a drainage <br />concern on Lomax Drive. <br /> <br />4. SET NEXT MEETING <br /> <br />The next meeting was set for September 12, 2022. <br /> <br />5.
