Board of the La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical <br />Services District <br />1 . Call to Order <br />2. Approve minutes of meeting of the temporary Board of Directors, held on May 23, 2011 <br />3. Administer oath of office to the permanent Directors <br />4. Permanent Directors draw lots for positions. Three (3) Directors shall serve terms that <br />expire on September 1, 2012, and four (4) Directors shall serve terms expiring on <br />September 1, 2013 <br />5. Election of a President and a Vice President from among its members, and appointment <br />of Tammy Kannarr as its secretary. <br />6. Consider appointing Ron Bottoms as General Manager of the District <br />7. Request the City of La Porte to obtain a Five Thousand Dollar ($5000.00) bond on each <br />Director. <br />8. Call a public hearing for July 28, 2011, to consider (1) the adoption of alternative budget <br />procedures, and to consider (2) a budget for the fiscal year which begins October 1, <br />2011.
