PRESENTATIONS <br />(a) <br />Receive presentation regarding Certification as an Accredited Economic Development <br />Organization (AEDO) – S. Livingston <br />Economic Development Coordinator Scott Livingston presented a summary and introduced Manager <br />of Economic Development at CenterPoint Energy John Cook to provide a PowerPoint presentation <br />regarding Certification as an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO). <br />President Warren asked if the International Economic Development Councils’ have regional meetings <br />with the Accredited Economic Development Organizations to discuss ideas. Mr. Cook responded no. <br />Board member Martin asked if the accreditation process will be beneficial of the Board becoming <br />knowledgeable of guidelines for funding different types of projects for businesses.
