Call to Order <br />Chairman Jay Martin called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. The following member of the Drainage <br />and Flooding Committee was present: Committee Members Chuck Engelken, Danny Earp and John <br />Zemanek. Staff Present: Corby Alexander, Jason Weeks, Don Pennell, Lorenzo Wingate, and Patrice <br />Fogarty. <br /> <br />2. Authorizations <br />(a) Consider approval or other action regarding minutes of the Drainage and Flooding Committee <br />Meeting held on November 12, 2018 P. Fogarty <br />Committee Member Engelken moved to approve the minutes of the Drainage and Flooding Committee <br />Meeting held on November 12, 2018, as presented. Committee Member Earp seconded. MOTION <br />PASSED 4/0. <br /> <br />3. Staff Reports <br />(a) Receive report from Harris County Flood Control District regarding current and future plans relating <br />to flooding in the City of La Porte L. Wingate/D. Pennell <br />Jeremy Ratcliff with Harris County Flood Control District provided a report on the Brookglen subdivision <br />and volunteer buyouts. Mr. Ratcliff informed that Buyout Manager James Wade can be contacted at <br />713-684-4000 for status of buyouts and he will have the lifecycle of a buyout before the next meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />to be approved. <br /> <br />Mr. Ratliff informed he is meeting on January 23, 2019 with City Engineer on the F216 Desilting project <br /> <br /> <br />Committee Member Martin requested maps on the two projects be included in the next meeting packet. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />January 14, 2019 <br /> Drainage and Flooding Committee Minutes <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
