TDEM <br />provided a notification letter dated April 13, 2020 indicating that the Brookglen Subdivision <br />Drainage Improvement Project application was not selected for funding. <br />In a letter dated June 22, 2020, the Texas General Land Office (TXGLO) invited the City of La <br />Porte to apply for supplemental CDBG Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding for the Brookglen <br />Subdivision Drainage Improvement Project (DR-4332-271) that was not selected for TDEM <br />funding. <br />The TXGLO supplemental funding program has specific requirements to benefit low to <br />moderate income areas. This program does not require a non-federal cost share. <br />-MIT <br />funding for the Brookglen Subdivision Drainage Improvement Project. <br />CDBG-MIT funding is expected to be submitted to the TXGLO by September 30, 2020. Staff is <br />has also prepared a solicitation to procure grant administration services to assist with this <br />application process. <br />RECOMMENDED MOTION <br />Approved for Drainage CommitteeAgenda <br /> <br />
