CITIZENCOMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person, in accordance with state law, the time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.) There were no citizen comments. 3. STATUTORY AGENDA a.Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve the minutes of the August 9,2021, meeting. \[Chairman Martin\] Member Engelkenmoved to approve the minutes;the motion was seconded by Member Williams; the motionwas adopted, 3-0. b.Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding recommendation to the La Porte City Council of proposed amendments to the City of La Porte Code of Ordinances Chapter 94-Floods.\[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] Member Engelken moved tohave staff rework the proposalsand bring the ordinanceback at a later date; the motion was seconded by Member Williams; the motion was adopted, 2-0, Chair Martin voting against.The Committee elected to discuss the freeboard clarifications and, without objection, chose to approve recommending, to Councilthe minimum freeboard clarifications necessaryto remain in compliance with the minimum CRS requirements. c.Presentation, discussion, and possible action regardingstatus of drainage infrastructure project for property near the Pasadena Convention Center, under terms of the interlocal agreement between the City of La Porte and the City of Pasadena. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Public Works Director,said the professional services agreement was expected to be presented to the Committee at its next meeting.
