CITIZENCOMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person, in accordance with state <br />law, the time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.) <br />There were no citizen comments. <br />3. CONSENT AGENDA (Approval of Consent Agenda items authorizes each to be implemented <br />in accordance with staff recommendations provided. An item may be removed from the <br />consent agenda and added to the Statutory Agenda for full discussion upon request by a <br />member of the Committee present at this meeting.) <br />There were no items for the consent agenda. <br />4. STATUTORY AGENDA <br />a.Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve the minutes of the <br />September 13,2021, meeting. \[Councilperson Martin, Chairman\] <br />Member Engelkenmoved to approve the minutes;the motion was seconded by Member <br />Williams;the motionwas adopted, 3-0. <br />b.Presentation, discussion, and possible actionregardingstatus of 100 acre-foot <br />detention pond project near the Pasadena Convention Center, associated with the <br />interlocal agreement between the City of La Porte and the City of Pasadena. <br />\[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] <br />Mr.Wingate noted Halff Associates has negotiated a contract for the projectand that it <br />was actually 550 calendar days, unlike the 400 in the draft document. He added that the <br />Pasadena City Council isset to consider this item at the end of October/beginning of <br />November. Member Engelkenmoved torecommend to the City Council approval of a <br />engineering services contract with Halff Associates, Inc. for the 100 Acre-Foot Interlocal <br />Detention Pond Project; the motion was seconded by Member Williams; the motion was <br />adopted, 3-0. <br />October11,2021-Drainage and Flooding Committee Minutes <br /> <br />
