Askins, Asst. City <br />Attorney <br />CALL TO ORDERChairman Martincalled the meeting to order at5:00p.m. <br />2. CITIZENCOMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person, in accordance with state <br />law, the time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other considerations.) <br />Ryan Mathis had questions about inspection of fill dirt. <br />3. STATUTORY AGENDA <br />a.Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve the minutes of the <br />Drainage and Flooding Committee regular meeting held on August 8, 2022. \[Jay <br />Martin, Chair\] <br />Member Engelkenmoved to approve the minutes;the motion was seconded by Chair <br />Martin;the motionwas adopted, 2-0. <br />b.Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the status of potential <br />development of property located at the intersection of State Hwy. 146 and McCabe <br />Road and owned by Dutko Family Partnership, Ltd. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant <br />Director of Public Works\] <br />Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works, said the City had received a copy of <br />the drainage report and then shortly received notification from Beazerthat theywere not <br />proceedingat this time.Tom Hitchcock, a representative for the property owners, was <br />asked if he had any commentsand said the owners havebeen allowing Beazer to move <br />through its process with the City. <br />c.Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding status of 100 acre-foot <br />detention pond project near the Pasadena Convention Center and Brookglen <br />Subdivision, in connection with amended interlocal agreement between the City of <br />La Porte and the City of Pasadena. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public <br />Works\] <br />September 12, 2022-Drainage and Flooding Committee Minutes <br /> <br />
