All agenda items are <br />subject to action. The Cityuncil reserves the right to meet in a closed session on any agenda <br />item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of <br />the Texas Government Code. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />2. ELECTION ORDINANCE AND OTHER ELECTION - RELATED ACTIONS <br />(a) Consider approval or other action regarding an Ordinance declaring the results of the <br />City of La Porte Runoff Election held on June 11, 2011, for the election of a <br />Council person-At- Large—Position B; and providing for other matters relating to the <br />subject – Mayor Rigby <br />3. COUNCIL COMMENTS REGARDING MATTERS APPEARING ON AGENDA; RECOGNITION <br />OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS, CITY EMPLOYEES, AND UPCOMING EVENTS; INQUIRY OF <br />STAFF REGARDING SPECIFIC FACTUAL INFORMATION OR EXISTING POLICIES – <br />Councilmembers Martin, Moser, Zemanek, Leonard, Engelken, Mosteit, Clausen and Mayor <br />Rigby <br />4.
