THE STATE OF TEXAS ) COUNTY OF HARRIS ) CITY OF LA PORTE ) NOTICE OF MEETING Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of La Porte will meet in Budget Workshop Sessions the week of August 19 through August 23, 2002. The meetings will be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, beginning at 6:00 P.M. A copy of the agenda for the workshop sessions is attached hereto. I hereby certify that I posted this Notice on the bulletin board located at a place convenient to the public in the City Hall of the City of La Porte, at 5:00 P.M. on the 16t' day of August 2002, and that (1) said Notice was posted for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of the meeting; or (2) if this Notice was posted less than 72 hours but more than 2 hours before the meeting is convened, I hereby certify that said meeting was called because of an emergency or urgent public necessity limited to imminent threats to public health and safety or reasonable unforeseeable situations requiring immediate action by the City Council.
