• ADDENDUM TO MEETING NOTICE The following items will be added to the Regular Meeting, Public Hearing Meeting and Workshop Meeting to be held May 10, 2004 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas. The Regular Meeting and Public Hearing are scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. 1. City Council to consider approving an ordinance declaring an emergency for the purpose of waiving the bid process for demolition of structures located at 200 Garfield (Ord. 2004-2737) - N. Finan 2. Considerations and possible action on item considered in Executive Session. 551-071- (PENDING LITIGATION) -MEETING WITH CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO DISCUSS PENDING LITIGATION EXECUTIVE SESSION - PURSUANT TO PROVISION OF THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW, CHAPTER 551.071 THROUGH 551.076, 551.087, TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, (CONSULTATION WITH ATTORNEY, DELIBERATION REGARDING REAL PROPERTY, DELIBERATION REGARDING PROSPECTIVE GIFT OR DONATION, PERSONNEL MATTERS, DELIBERATION REGARDING SECURITY DEVICES, OR EXCLUDING A WITNESS DURING EXAMINATION OF ANOTHER WITNESS IN AN INVESTIGATION, DELIBERATION REGARDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT NEGOTIATIONS) I hereby certify that I posted this Notice on the bulletin board located at a place convenient to the public in the City Hall of the City of La Porte, 5:00 p.m. on the 7~ day of May 2004, and that (1) said Notice was posted for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of the meeting; or (2) if this Notice was posted less than 72 hours but more than 2 hours before the meeting convened. I hereby certify that said meeting was called because of an emergency or urgent public necessity limited to imminent threats to public health and safety or reasonable unforeseeable situations reauiring immediate action by the City Council.
