The request is for approval of a change of the <br />future land use designation from "Commercial" to "Low Density Residential" use, on a 1.19-acre tract of <br />land located at the 1700 block of S. Broadway St. and legally described as Lots 1-16, Block 1445, Town of <br />La Porte, Harris County, Texas. <br />Following the public hearing, the City Council will act upon the public hearing item and conduct other <br />matters pertaining to the Council. <br />Citizens wishing to address the Council pro or con during the public hearing are asked to sign in before the <br />meeting is convened. <br />In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, The City of La Porte will provide for reasonable <br />accommodations for persons attending public meetings. To better serve attendees, requests should be <br />received three (3) business days prior to the meeting.
