6.c Design Proposal Amendment for Public Works Improvements <br />Authorize the City Manager to execute design proposal amendment to agreement <br />with BRW Architects for Public Works Facility Improvements, not to exceed <br />$884,440.00 [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />6.d City Hall GMP <br />Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve Guaranteed Maximum Price <br />(GMP) proposal for the construction phase of La Porte City Hall and authorize the <br />City Manager to execute Guaranteed Maximum Price amendment to the existing <br />Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract with Bellows Construction awarding <br />construction costs, general conditions, profit and overhead totaling $22,516,932.00. <br />[Corby Alexander, City Manager] <br />Reports <br />Presentation on major projects and/or departures from current practices are often provided <br />here. [Corby Alexander, City Manager] <br />8. Items of Community Interest <br />Per Texas Gov't. Code Sec. 551.0415, the Council may receive from staff and/or may make <br />a report about items of community interest during a meeting without having given notice of <br />the subject of the report, if no action is taken and, except as provided by Section 551.042, <br />possible action is not discussed regarding the information provided in the report. Hear <br />announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of community interest; <br />and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy from the <br />Mayor, Councilperson, and City staff, for which no formal action will be discussed. <br />9. Adjourn <br />Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or <br />services are requested to contact the City Secretary's Office (281-470-5021), three working <br />days prior to the meeting for appropriate arrangements. <br />Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sec. 551.127, on a regular, non -emergency basis, <br />members may attend and participate in the meeting remotely by video conference.
