<br />ORDINANCE NO . ~ 7,p <br />DATE ~ !,Q_ ~j9 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 167 FOR THE CITY OF LOMAX, <br />TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOMAX THAT: <br />Section 1. An ordinance creating a joint airport zoning <br />board known as the La Porte-Deer Park-Lomax Joint Airport Zoning <br />Board with powers such boards are authorized to exercise under the <br />provisions of Article 46(e)1, etc., Revised Civil Statutes of <br />Texas, recorded as Ordinance No. 167 passed on the 14th day of <br />August, 1978, be and the same is hereby repealed and the members <br />appointed'by the City to the said La Porte-Deer Park-Lomax Joint <br />Airport Zoning Board are hereby removed. <br />Section 2. There exists a public emergency requiring <br />that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction, <br />and the mayor having in writing declared the existence of such <br />emergency and requested such passage, this ordinance shall be passed <br />finally on the date of its introduction, this 18th day of May, 1979, <br />and shall take effect immediately upon.its passage and approval. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED, this 18th day of May, 1979. <br />CITY OF LOMAX <br />~d <br />Norman L.
