NARRATIVE <br />1. LOCATION OF .PROPOSED STRUCTURE <br />Approximately 4 statute miles southwest of the Humphreys Airport <br />2. OBSTRUCTION STANDARDS EXCEEDED <br />The proposed structure-would exceed obstruction standards of Federal Aviation <br />Regulations, Part 77, as follows: <br />Section 77.23(a)(2) by 190 feet, the height above ground level (AGL) or <br />airport elevation exceeding 250' at 3.5 nautical miles of the Humphrey <br />Airport established reference point with its longest runway more than <br />3200 feet in actual length. <br />3. EFFECT TO AERONAUTICAL OPERATIONS <br />a. En route/Terminal - the proposed structure would not affect any instrument <br />flight rule (IFR procedure). <br />b. En route/Terminal/Airport - The proposed structure would not affect any <br />visual flight rule (VFR) operations. <br />4. CIRCULARIZATION AND COMMENTS RECEIVED <br />The proposal was circularized to all known affected aviation interests and to <br />nonaeronautical interests that may be affected,. by the proposal. There were <br />no ob3ections or comments received as a result of'the circularization. <br />5. DETERMINATION - NO HAZARD <br />a. It is determined the proposed structure would have no substantial adverse <br />effect on the safe and efficient use of navigable airspace by aircraft <br />if appropriately marked and lighted. <br />b. Explanation - the proposed structure would not effect any change in,IFR <br />procedures or VFR operations. <br />6. LIMITATIONS <br />This determination, issued in accordance with FAR, Part 77, does not preempt, <br />cancel, alter, supersede, or suspend any ordinances, laws, regulations of <br />.any givernment body or agency. <br />7. Request for extension of the effective period of this determination should <br />be submitted by the proponent 15 days prior to expiration date. <br />_- ~ ~ <br />
