STATE OF TEXAS)( <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS)( <br />CITY OF LA PORTE )( <br />ANIMAL SHELTER ADVISORY MINUTES <br />A regular meeting was held on March 29, 2011, and called to order at 6:05 p,m., at the La Porte <br />Police Department in the Administrative Conference Roam, 3001 N. 23rd, and La Porte, Texas. <br />Members in attendance were, Chief of Police Ken Adcox, Animal Control Supervisor Clarence <br />Anderson, Councilman John Zemanek, and Donna Medford, DVM. <br />1. Call to Order at 6:05 p.m. <br />2. Introduction of Members. Members of the Committee were introduced. <br />3. Approval of the minutes from October 22, 2010. Minutes will be approved at next <br />committee meeting <br />4. Update on the Animal Shelter Donation Account: Animal Control Supervisor Clarence <br />Anderson updated the committee of the statues of the Donation Account. Motion was <br />made by Clarence Anderson and seconded by Ken Adcox to spend $800.00 for <br />vaccinations for the animals. Motion carried. <br />5. Presentation of Administrative /Statistical Reports by Animal Control Supervisor; <br />Animal Control Supervisor Clarence Anderson went over the Statistical Reports for the <br />Shelter. <br />6. Chief Ken Adcox and Animal Control Supervisor Clarence Anderson went over the <br />presentation that will be presented to City Council at the budget retreat. <br />7. Chief Ken Adcox discussed adding Young Leader like a High School Senior to the <br />Advisory Committee. It was discussed by the committee and agreed upon to pursue the <br />addition to the committee. <br />S. Board Member Comments <br />9.
