The yield <br />has been between 2.44% and 2.63% over the past 3 months. The average return on the portfolio <br />for the third quarter of the fiscal year was 2.53%, compared to our average benchmark of 3.30% <br />(see graph belaw). The total interest earned for the 2002 fiscal year is $810,010. <br />City vs. Benchmark <br />5.00% <br />4.00% <br />3.00% <br />2.00% <br />1.00% <br />O~ O~ Off' O~ Off' O~ Off' Off' Off' 01' Off' 01' <br />Portfolio Yield 2 Year Yield <br />At June 34`~ the City's portfolio consisted of 39% in Agency Notes, 61% in Texpool and Logic, <br />and less than one percent in CMO's (see pie chart below). <br />We have been steadily investing in Agencies, but due to several calls, the majority of the City's <br />investments remain in Texpool. <br />
