<br />Building Codes Ad Hoc Committet. <br />Minutes of December 3,2003 <br /> <br />Page 2 00 <br /> <br />As previously requested at the last meeting, Tommy Moser asked staff what they <br />found about inspector certifications. Will C3 honor any certifications the city <br />inspectors currently hold? Staff advised him they had not spoken with anyone at <br />the code; however, the C3 representatives had stated to the Committee they would <br />be honoring existing certifications. Stanley Briers confirmed it was his <br />understanding as well that they would be honored. <br /> <br />Another question addressed what certification opportunities are available thru <br />both code groups. Staff distributed certification opportunities obtained from both <br />code websites. <br /> <br />V. CONTINUE DISCUSSION AND CONSIDER ACTION ON <br />DEVELOPMENT RECOMMENDATION OF THE CODES APPEAL <br />BOARD <br /> <br />No discussion or action taken. <br /> <br />VI. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. CONSIDER TENTATIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 10TH FOR <br />REVIEW OF THE MECHANICAL CODES, ADDITIONAL <br />DISCUSSION ON THE BUILDING CODES AND CODES <br />APPEALS BOARD PROCESS <br /> <br />Chairman Clausen requested the December loth agenda include review <br />and discussion of the Mechanical Codes and additional review and <br />discussion of the Building Codes. It should also include discussion of the <br />Appeal Board process. <br /> <br />B. CONSIDER TENTATIVE MEETING DATE OF DECEMBER 17TH <br />FOR REVIEW OF THE COMPLETE GROUP OF CODES AND <br />THE CODES APPEAL BOARD PROCESS <br /> <br />No discussion or action was taken, <br /> <br />C.
