Meeting Minutes of the City of La Porte <br />Meeting held on October 24, 2016 <br />1. Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 3:03 p.m. by Matt Hartleib <br />2. Member Roll Call <br />Present: Matt Hartleib, Matt Daeumer, Martha Gillett, Clark Askins, Michael Dolby, Aaron <br />Corrales and Charles Montgomery <br />Absent: Julie Graham and Robert Eldridge <br />Others: Traci Leach, Lindsey Campuzano, Brent Weegar, Brian Wilson and John: Heerwagen <br />3. Consider approval of minutes from the May 23, 2016 meeting <br />Matt Daeumer made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Clark Askins seconded. <br />All in favor; motion passed. <br />4. Receive information from IPS Advisors regarding RFP vendor response for medical, <br />vision, stop loss and Medicare coverages <br />John Heerwagen from IPS Advisors presented an overview of vendors who responded to the <br />RFP. Vendor responses for medical TPA were Aetna, CIGNA, BOBS and United HealthCare. <br />Vendor responses for vision were Aetna, Davis Vision, MetLife and Avesis. Vendor responses <br />for Stop Loss were BOBS, CIGNA, Stealth, SA Benefits and United HealthCare- Vendor <br />responses for Medicare were Aetna, BOBS and United HealthCare. <br />5. Discuss and take possible action regarding the RFP vendor responses for medical, <br />vision, stop loss and Medicare coverages <br />No action was taken. Board decided to reconvene on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 3-OOPM. <br />IPS Advisors will be bringing additional information on generic step therapy, a Top 100 <br />provider list and an estimate of savings for switch to CIGNA for medical, Clark Askins made <br />a motion.
