~! i <br />~~ <br />4 /I <br />l1 ~ / <br />• <br />A` <br />• <br />~~,~ <br />L~~ CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPT~~BER <br />*~*+-+-•1930**~*~*~-* <br />Meeting was called to order by mayor ~c$ay. <br />All members of the council were present. <br />The purpose of the meeting was general. <br />The first matter to be disposed of was that Q <br />deciding whwther or not the city would use concrete pipe or ~~ <br />salt glared clay pipe in the construction of the ae~rer system. <br />It developed that there was a diferenae of ~1~~OOi00 in cost in <br />favor of aonarete pipe. ~--'~ <br />r <br />Alderman Butt offered a motion seaoided by <br />Alderman S ;that Mr. Gayle be instructed to use conar~ie pips <br />in the const'; ~'tioa of the sewer s,~stem. Yote in favor of this <br />motion was unanimous. <br />Contractor Gayle asked for the preference of <br />the aounail in fire hydrants to be used and offered the follow3ag <br />braa~ds !or their consideration.Darliag.
