H Sharp and Le Roy Tolle. <br />The Seoretary read an ordinance designdd to regulate rates <br />and fees charged by the c3ulf Citi®a Nate • Gas Co• <br />A roll of the councilmen was called to determine whether or <br />not the ordinance as read be adopted. <br />Alderman Ruff, yesi uYSll yes, Tolle, yes and Sharp yes. Alderman <br />Bendel not present. <br />Alderman Wall offered a motion seconded by alderman Ruff that <br />the ordinance be adopted and inasmuch am emergency existed <br />requiring an immediate adoption of the ordinance that the ~ <br />rule requiring that an ordinance be read at three several <br />'\ meetings ~ the council be suspended and that the ot'kdinance <br />~ shall take effect immediately upon its publication. <br />Carried. <br />The Mayor therefore declared ordinance No.242 in full force' ~~, <br />and effect from and after date of itt s adoption Friday Nov. <br />13-1931 <br />Alderman Mall .reported that Mr. Browning offered to lay the <br />4" and 6" pipe bought by the city atfbur cents and f fve~y cents <br />per foot respectively, in addition to price bid for laying <br />2" pipe . <br />~~, Alderman Ruff offered a motion seconded by alderman mall that <br />Mr Browning be allowed the additional amount per foot for <br />_ ~ all 4" and 6" pipe laid under his contraot• <br />ent was taken <br />i ~ ec • <br />Carried. <br />Mayor <br />
