There ing a unanimous vote in favor of the adoption of t ordinance the Mayor declared Ordinance #243 in full orce and effect. Ald. Ruff offered a motion seconded by Ald. Sharp that sec. 26 of the Plumbing Ordinance # 238 which specifies that "Grease Traps must be 18" X 30" X 20" deep" be amended by interlisation to read "or 3t~s equivalent in surface area". Carried Motion was made by Ald. Counts and seconded by Ald. Sharp that if the original plans were to bring the sewer main through the center of block 182 running north and south that J Hall Sheppard be given the advantage of the diference: if any, of the excess over forty feet betvreen the distance from the main on 8th st. to his propertg line and the center of the block where the main was originally planned to run, to his sewer connection. Carried . Ald. Ruff made a motion seconded by Ald. Wall that. the secretary be autnorizad to have his typewriter cleaned and S repaired. Carried . A1d. Fall made a motion seconded by Ald. Ruff that the secretary b® instructed to ask for bidd for shelling 150 ft. on Sou. Seventh no. from Sou. B st. The shelled surface to be 12 ft. in width, 8" deep in center and 6" deep on edges; (Over) Carried.
