Counts <br />that an amendment be ms,de to a resolution adopted by the <br />council October l0,1y32 which reads;"It having been brot <br />to the attention of the city Council that many foot <br />bridges and culverts across street ditches are inadequate <br />to take care of the wataw in the ditches thereby creatiig <br />a hazzard to the proper drainage, Therefore; <br />Be it resolved , That efPeative immediately upon <br />the adoption of this resolution that all culverts and <br />foot bridges over street ditches shall be constructed <br />to give adequate drainage in all cases and that no culvert <br />or foot bridge~t shall be constructed without first ob- <br />taining apermit from the City Secretary to be approved <br />by the street and alley committ®e and e11 such culverts and <br />foot bridges shall be repaired or reconstructed to comply <br />with the requirements of the street and alley committee. <br />Amenament <br />That hereafter all culverts installed in or <br />over street ditches, exceadir~g eighteen feet in length <br />shall have a concrete cleanout as provided by plans and <br />apeaifications on file in the office of the City Secretary. <br />Ce.rri®d <br />Alderman Wnll offered a motion seconded by Ald.
