<br />W.S.H. Minchen drainage 8c taxes
<br />Mr ~,'.S.H. Minehen appeared before the City Council asking for some adjustment
<br />to be made on his taxes and for drainage to be taken care of in his vicinity.
<br />Mr ~:iinchen agreed to take up the matter of drainage with J.A.H. Tennant if the
<br />City would cooperate. _
<br />I~~otion by Ald. Boyle,second by Ald. Agee that the question of W.S.I:. Minchen
<br />taxes be referred to the Tax Committee for investigation and to be reported
<br />on at the next regular Council meeting. Carried.
<br />H.~. Wherley drainage
<br />H.B.Wherley appeared before the City Council on the matter of drainage in
<br />his vicinity.
<br />Motion by A1d. Ruff, second by Ald. Roark that the natter of the drainage
<br />of a ditch in front of the Wherley property to the main ditch be turned
<br />over to the Street & Alley C~ittee for investigation and with power to
<br />act. Carried.
<br />Traffic Lights
<br />Mr H.J. Pfeiffer introduced to the Council, Mr Northrup of Crouse-Hines Co.,
<br />and Mr H.L Frazier,Eoustox~_ agent for Graybar Cg. who prese~.ted detailed
<br />information on Traffic Lights.
<br />Motion by Ald. Ruff, second by Ald. Agee that the matter of purchasing
<br />r~~`ic Lights be referred to the Ligr~ting C~iittee to obtain information,
<br />specifications and prices and report back to the next regular Council meet-
<br />ing for action•Carried•
