Mills Dist.Clerk for costs in the <br />case of Cit~T of La Porte vs `y.c.t. ?vginchen, Suit No.197175. <br />Carried. <br />Pdote The City Secretary reportod ttLat the note of '600.00 with interest in the <br />amount of~~10.30, in favor of the First National Bank and which was due <br />April 2yth,lA3~3 had been paid on li?ay 12,138. <br />The CiL-y Secretary reported that an affidavit had been received from Fred <br />~~a.rtman of ttie Daily Sun on the publication of the Ordinance No.267 on the <br />levy of an Occupation Tax. <br />Ball T_,otion by Agee, second by Roark, trial RT.O. Nelson Co. bill of ;~23.h9 be <br />accepted and ordered laid by the I6th of June in order to take advantage <br />of the ~;~ discount for cash. Carried. <br />Letter ~dotion by Boyle, second by Agee, that the City attorney be authorized to <br />write a letter to the J.S. Johnson, Estate, asking them to discontinue <br />servicing water consumers in the City Limits, except or_ their own private <br />property. Carried. <br />City Motion by Ruff, second by Roark, that the CitS* Hall office be closed for the <br />Hall day on Wednesday, i;~a.y 25th in order f,o allow the City office force to attend <br />the Regional meeting of City Officals to be held in the Dice Hotel on that <br />date. Carried. <br />Dump ?'lotion by Ruff, second by Roark that the matter of an official dumping ground <br />for the City be turned over to the Street and Alley Colmnittee for recommenda- <br />tion. Vote was taken with taro Ayes and two Noes.
