Lamlaly i~hich was ordered <br />placed on file. <br />The Assistant Secretary read a letter from Hughes Motor Co. which was <br />ordered placed on file. <br />Termitox i~~otion by Euff, second by Roark that the bid of the Termitox Co. of <br />X198.00 for Termitoxing the City Hall be placed on file with the other <br />bids on termite eradication and control. <br />Carried <br />Fieport,3pecia.l The Mayor at this time presented the report on the Special City Election <br />Election held June 29th, 19~.a.0 at the City Hall as follows: <br />For Alderman to serve the unexpired term of F. R. Boyle, resigned: <br />J. Td. Johnson 70 votes <br />Total Number of votes cast - 70. <br />Motion by Agee, second by Ruff to accept the election returns and declare <br />J~ N. Johnson elected as alderman and that the election returns be placed <br />on file. <br />Carried <br />Budget Mayor Sharp announced that a Budget Meeting would be held 'Nednesday night, <br />July 10, 19.0 at 7;30 P. M, <br />~~enetian The bid from The Consolidated Venetiatan Blind Co vTas ordered placed on <br />Blind file unopened. <br />Motion by Ruff, Second by Roark that the time for the report from the <br />Street and Alley Co~nnittee on City Electrical Inspector be e~;tended to <br />the next meeting. <br />mayor Sharp reported that the new Fire Marshall, C~ J.
