<br />Bud~:;et T;~layor Sharp presented the proposed Budget for the fiscal year of
<br />April 1,191.0 to ~tiarch 31,191.1.
<br />Motion by Ruff, second by Johnson, that this proposed budget be
<br />accepted, filed in the office of City Secretary for inspection
<br />by the public, that a public hearing be held on August 26,191.0
<br />at the City Hall at La Porte, Texas at 8;00 P.T. and that pro-
<br />per notice of such hearing be published in the official newspaper.

<br />Equalization The Tax hssessor, ~~rs T~i.O.Lar.:bly, reported that the tax renditions
<br />Board and assessments were ready for the Equalization Board.
<br />Ordinance ro. 281 was read, being an Ordinance providing that the
<br />City Council shall act as the Board of 1qualization for the year 19.0,
<br />fixing the times of the meetings of such Board, providing that the
<br />City Secretary shall act as Secretary of such Board and declaring an
<br />emergency.

<br />as read.
