Motion by Agee, second by Johnson that the City of La Porto Delinquent Tax Roll in the amount of X9,321.05, as of January 31,19la.1, be approved. Carried. Affidavit The City Secretary presented an affide~vit from the Daily Sun of Goose Creek on the printing of the City's ElectricQl Ordinance No. 285. This affidavit was ordered filed. The Mayor read the following election order: Election Be it ordered by the Mayor and City Council of La Port®, order Texas that the annual election be held at the City Hall Building in said City of La Porte, on the 1st day of April, A.D.191+1, for the pur- .., pose of electing three members to the Board of Aldermen of said City. It is further ordered that ~'.W. Reynolds, Otis Harrison and Mts June Kirchner are hereby appointed election officers,as designated, and that said election be held in the manner prescribed by law for hold- ing such elections. It is further ordered that the returns of such election be delivered to the City Council of said City, in open session, as soon as practicable after the closing of the polls. ordered It is further that proper notice of such election be pub- lished in the 'official newspaper.
