Gentlemen: As you know, the Profit Sharing Agreement eras amended on the 9th day of this month, and the reduction in rates which followed became effective in all cities we serve six days later. Now, in line with our policy that cities we serve which are not parties to that Agroement shall nevertheless be given their share i,, i+r:s benefits, we are glad to anake the follawing offer to accompany this reducti~sa an +~.i.e vost of our service 1. Commencing with 1911, the Company will pay your City, within 1.a.5 days after than c <<~se of tl~e yoar, two perc;Ant o° its annual gross receipts from the sale of electric energy to customers within your City for all classes of use except gosernmes~tal and municipal sales, sales to other public ut:~l~.ties and sales involving an inter- change of elact~•ic energy.
