Carried. <br />Letter The City Secretary presented a letter from Patrick IIenry, Secretary of <br /> the Texas Christian Missionary Society asking for a reduction of City <br /> taxes on the La Porte property of the Soci©ty on the basis of the lower <br /> valuations set up by the County and School Eax offices on this property. <br /> ~4otion by Agee, second by Norris that the valuations o~B the property <br /> owned by the `texas Christian Missionary Society be left as fined by the <br /> City Equalization Board. Carried. <br />Office Motion by ~igee, second by Johnson, that the City Secretary's 0$fio® be <br />Close closed at noon on Thursday Decem~rer 24th and remain closed until 8:00 <br /> A.ll4. Monday, December 28th,191.~2. Carried. <br />Corp.Court 1~layor R~.iff presented the report of the Corporation Court for the month <br />Report of November, 19ia2.
