F. r~orris, J. J, Roark, J. L. Dunham, City Seay. ,harp. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Motion by Johnson, seoond by tvorris, that the bill of ~. ~. llarley and Co. in the amcaunt of 118.3? be allowed and ordered paid. ~ Carried. Motion by Johnson, second by Norris, that the letter from the Federal corks agency, dated November 20, 191.6, in regard of applications for federal aid be placed on Pile. Carried. Motion by Morris, seoond by Roark, that ~'hi~lips Investment ~o. be employed by the City to revalue City of La Porte real estate. Carried. ' Motion by Morris, second oy Johnson, that repair parts for pump Por~F2 lift station be purchased.. Carried. Motion ay Johnson, seoond ay Dunham, that the City purchase the necessary chlorine for dininfeoting area flooded by raw sewerage. • Carried. .Motion by Roark, seoond by Johnson, that repairs to the three five horse power electric motors oe made. ~%arried. Motion by Roark, seoond oy Johnson, that 1~arrant 1~0. $866 in the amount of i80.1b to Municipal dupply Co. be ratified. Carried. The 14~yor presented the Corporation Court Report from august 26, 191;b to November 22, 191;6. Motion by 3~hnson, seoond by Dunham, that the corporation Conxt Report as presented by the ~.yor be accepted and Mayor's fees paid. ~ Carried. Motion by Johnson, second by Morris, that the City aeeretary be authorized to issue a warrant in the amount of ;100.00 to J. M. Johnson, Fire Commissioner for Firemen's Prize money. Carried. Motion by Norris, seoond by Roark,'to allow X100.00 far ex- penses of the Mayor and Secretary to attend convention held at ~3arlingen, 'Peace oy the League of Texas Municipalities. Curried.
