M. <br />z7~ <br />Special meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor Pfeiffer <br />with the following members and officials pres®nt: Commissioners Jas• S. <br />Crate, Jr., Jas. E. Stewart, City' Attorney, Jno. S. Kiibler and J. E. <br />Muldoon, City Clerk. <br />Motiar~. by Crate, Second by Stewart that Mayor Pfeiffer be authorized to <br />signs and execute all copies of B. C. F. Form 1x.05 in connection with <br />application No. Tex. 1.~1- P. 552 for advance of $12,700 for preparation of <br />plans for a new sanitary sewer system and. disposal plant. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, second by Stewart that bond of X1000.00 of Richard P• <br />Osborne, Recorder of the Corporati~a~. Court executed by a corporate <br />surety be ap~roved. <br />Carried. <br />Moticm by Stewart, second by Crate that Mayor Pfeiffer be authorized to <br />sigh contract vrith T. B. Trotter certified Public Accountant for an <br />annual audit report, and the preparation of monthly statements for an <br />annual fee of ?50.00, payable X62.50 a month, <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, second by Stewart that Ordiance No• 337 being AN ORDIANCE <br />~~ CHAPJGING THE FISCAL YEAR OF THE CITY OF LA PORTk~, TEXAS, TO THE PERIOD <br />BEGIPINING JULY 1st AND ENDING ON JUNE 30th OF THE SUCCEEDING CALENDAR YEAR: <br />REPE?.LING ALL ORDIANCES OR PARTS OF ORDIANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Stewart, second by Crate to : joiaa , .:~: with the La Porte Indepen- <br />dent School district in the filing of a tax suit on all of block 32•-La Porte. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, second by Stewart that Mxs. Calvin Compton be issued <br />a warrant for X150.00 far taking census. <br />Carried, <br />Motion by Crate, sec and by Stewart to pay far a X25.00 decuctible collisicas, <br />fire and theft insurance policy on Chief of Police Walter RobersonTs <br />Chevrolet automobile. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate, second by Stewart that the commission hold their special <br />meetings each Tuesday at 10:00 A.
