<br />C <br />MINUTES - SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />LA PORTS CITY COMMISSION - AUGUST 26, 1947 <br />55 <br />10:00 A. M. <br />Special meeting of the City Commission was called to order by <br />Mayor Pfeiffer, with the following members and officials preserYt: <br />Commissioner Jas. E. Stewart, Supt of Public 11~orks Raleigh Erwin, <br />City Engineer ~Tyatt C. Hedrick and hic represe ntative John T. <br />MaAfes, City Attorney Jno. S. Kiibler, and City Clerk J. E. <br />Muldoon. <br />Mr. Ernest L. Br~~ Jr., a bond broker, appeared before the <br />Commission and talked on the city's proposed bond issue, origin- <br />ation of bonds and sale of same. <br />Motion by fitewart, second by Pfeiffer, that J. Kirby Holoomb, <br />Roy Shipp and H. L.
