<br />A sonooittee eonposed of Russel, Shepherd and Glen Shaffer, representing
<br />the business fires, appeared with refereaee to the parking- peters.
<br />They stated that its Tiew oP the X1700.00 caaoe11at3on charge, and their
<br />recaa~t investigation in other cities which have the same meters, it
<br />was agreeable with their group for the meters to be installed and tried
<br />for a aiz xontha period.
<br />Motion by Crate, second by SteArart, that the following Resolutiog be
<br />adopteds
<br />RESOLUTION
<br />AREAS, pursuant to authority duly vested im Fred R. Ruff,
<br />the then Mayor, by the Goverxa,irag body of Gity of La Porte, Texas, oa
<br />the '~ day of Mareh,l9l.#.7,the said Fred R. Ruff am the 29th day of
<br />March, 1g47, executed an agroen,exit aiut public voucher for an advance
<br />oP foots Troia the Federal Wourks Agency, &ireau oP Cavity Facilities,

<br />wSEREAS, H. J. Pfeiffer is now the duly qualified awd acting
<br />Mayor, therefore
<br />Ee it resolved that H• J. Pfeiffer, Mayor, is authorized to
<br />execute a public voueher for final payment of advasoe (BCF Fona l~07)
<br />for and as behalf of said City of La Porte, Texas, a~ad all acts of the
<br />said official and of his predecessor in office, relatis~ to said ad-
<br />vance are hereby ratified, confirmed sad approved.
