S. Crate, Jr. and James E. Stewart, Supt. of Public <br />"r`orks Ral®igh Erwin, City Attorney Jno. S. Kiibler and City Clerk <br />J. E. Muldoon. <br />The r1tayor asked that the returns of the City Election held on April <br />6, 19t~$, be canvassed. The eloctio3~ returns were canvassed as follows: <br />FCR P~:AYOR <br />H. J. Pfeiffer 1.67 <br />Yd. A. Johnson 296 <br />~G J <br />FOR COMMISSIONERS <br />(Two to be elected) <br />J. J. Roark 273 <br />Jas. S. Crate, Jr. x.75 <br />James Stewart J~80 <br />Bert Corbin 2?5 <br />P+4otion by Stewart, second by Crate, that H. J. rfeiffer, receiving the <br />majority of votes for Mayor, be declared elected to serve for two years <br />in this position. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Stewart, second by Crate, that Jas. S. Crag, Jr. and James E. <br />Stewart, receiving the majority of votes for Cor~issioners, be elected <br />to serve for tti~,ro years as Corrnnissioners. <br />Carried. <br />The X3000.00 bond of H. J. tfeiffer as Mayor, executed by a corporate <br />surety, was read and approved upon motion by Crate and second by Stew- <br />art . <br />Carried . <br />The X3000.00 bonds (each) of Jas. S. Crate, Jr. and James. E. Stewart, <br />executed by a corporate surety, were read and approved upon motion by <br />Crate and second by Stevra.rt. <br />Carried. <br />~I <br />
