Un motion by Caamnissioner Crate, duly seoonded by Mayor Pfeiffer, and carried by unanimous vote, it was ordered that `t'hursday at 10:00 A. M• of each week shall hereafter be the regular meeting time of the City Commission of the City of La Porte . Carried. The regular meeting of the La Porte City Commission held October ?~., 191x.9, which was reoessed at 1:10 P. ~• on said date, sub jest to the call of the Mayor, was reconvened on this date at 10:00 o'clock A. M. and called to ordea~ by the Mayor, with the following members and city officials present: Mayor H. J. Pfeiffer, Commissioners Jas. S. Crate, Jr. and 1Nm. P. Jones, and Raleigh Erwin, Supt.of' Public vYorks. Upon reconvening, the minutes were taken by the Supt. of Public 'tyorks, in the absence of J. E. Muldoon, City Clerk. Motion by Crat®, seoonded by Jones, to purchase from Benson 'T'ractor Company 1 Model HD - 5 G Allis Chalmers tractor with standard equip¢nent and equipped with Model TS - 5 Tractomotive `1'racto Shovel, for X8,100.00, less 2 o plus freight. Carried. Motion by Crate, seoonded by Jones, authorizing the City Clerk to issue check to b~nson Tractor Company, for X8,205.38. Carried. TvSotion by Crate, second by Jones, to adjourn.
