D. <br />Burgin, City Attar~ney Carl C. Patrick, and City Clerk J. F. I1luldoon. <br />I;~.nutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />Tyr. Cecil Kennedy, I~Yanager of the SoutYn^restern Bell Telephone Cor~any, appeared before the <br />Commission and herded to them an Ordinance for extending their companyt s Franchise. No <br />action was taltenon this Ordinance. <br />T.~Iotion by Jones, second by Burgin, that City ~~i.ll assume unpaid portion of doctor's and <br />Hospital bill not taken care of by ~Talter Roberson's hospital insurance. <br />C asxied. <br />The City Clerk was instructed by the Commission to procure bids far electrical ti~sing on <br />':later ~d ell No. ~~ and have ready for meeting to beheld December 17, 1951. <br />The I~I~g-or requested bids for replacing Celetex in Fire Station and strip all vrith 2~" <br />Lattice. <br />The City Clerk opened the following bids: <br />Ivlocme & Tfioare, General.. Contracts, : ale propose to bid as follows on assembly Hall and <br />Fire Station Ceiling, furnishing all labor and material; Replace Celotex in Assembly <br />Room and strip out with 24" Lattice. Take old Celotex in Fire Station and replace ~~rhere <br />needed. Replace neti~r Celotex on all space left in Fire Station. Strip out entire ceiling <br />in Fire Station. <br />For the sum of -----------------------------------------------------._,_--------^~~219.00 <br />T~Zotion by Burgin, secorxi by Jones, to ~rard contract to T~oore & b~leore, Contractors, for <br />X219.00, a„nd use 2" Lattice. <br />Carried. <br />The Commission unanimously ratified the signing of the vrater well-tie-in, vrater well <br />hook-up and erection of vratox tank, all for the sum of j23~.9.00, by J. I,4. ti~Thite and <br />Sons, same being at'^rarded to J. Ta. T~+fh.ite ~C Sons on T,Iovanber 1, 1951. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Burgi.n~ second by Jo nes, ratifying the issuance of check No. 6?~20, to J. I.Z. <br />1`Thite ~.
