Carried. The Commission unanimously instructed the City Clerk to notify r~,s. Norma Sandel and Mr. Fred Martin that the City of La Porte would discontinue to furnish water service to their systems within 30 days. The Commission requested the City Clerk to compose a letter notifying those people who have grease traps to eligisiate same for sanitary reasons. The Commission vrere unanimously in favor of letting the Boy Scouts act as municipal officials for any Saturday they choose. Mr. T. F, Smith and Mr. j'~.A. Arthur, gave the Commission a report on their pro- gress on sanitation. The City Clerk read a letter from the Temple Lumber Compar~y, in vrhich they . offered to G2uit C1_aim Lots 18 to 28, Block 66, Bay Front, to the City of La Porte, ie, if they would assume all taxes assessed against it. The Commission animously agreed to assume all tax for a quit Claim deed on the property, and requested the City Attorney to notify the Temple Lumber Com- pany of their action. Motion by Rigby, second by ti'9hite, that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
