Bigrgin, <br />with the following members and city officials present: Commissioners L. R. Rigby <br />and Robert A. White, City Attorney Edward J. Cade, Supt. of Public Works~P.A. <br />Arthur, and City Clerk J. E. Muldoon. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />Motion by White, second by Rigby, instructing the City Attorney to confine the <br />new Building Ordinance to the present fire limits. <br />Carried. <br />It~otion by Rigby, second by White, awarding contract to T. B. Trotter, Certified <br />Public Accountant, for monthly and annual audit, for the ensuing two years, at <br />X750.00 per yeas, payable X62.50 each month. <br />Carried. <br />The Commission unanimously instructed ~!I. A. T. James, in which he <br />informed the Commission that he was contemplating the purchase of the water <br />lines now owned by Mrs. Norma Sandel and Imo. Fred Martin. He wished the <br />services that the City was giving these systems to b e continued until the deal <br />was consummated, and had time to put down a new well and other necessary equip- <br />ment to complete a first class water system. He also requested to know if the <br />City would be interested in selling water through a Master Meter at 50 or 60 <br />' pound pressure, and if so, and providing the rates shall justify, he vo uld b e <br />interested in the purchase of water from the City. <br />1~9 <br />The City Commission instructed the City Clerk to write 1'dr. James that they <br />- , would cons ider a contract with the following terms : The City would sell water <br />through a Master Meter as follows : first 50, 000 gallons ~ X16.7?, and thereafter <br />at x.30 per thousand. Mr. James would have to furnish a Master I+deter at the <br />Cityts line, The City would furnish him with a pressure between 50 and 60 <br />'.""~~ pounds.
