M. <br />251 <br />Regular meeting of the City Commission was called t o order by Mayor M. D. <br />Buxgin, with the following members and c:i.ty officials present : Commissioners <br />L. R. nigby and H. P. Pfeiffer Supt. of Public Works W.A.Arthur, Special <br />Counsel Jno. S. Kiibler, arxi Assistant City Clerk Eula Erwin. <br />Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />Mr. Paul Kistler, of the Kistler llistributing Company, appeared before the <br />Commission, to present the following bid on Street Mark£:rs: <br />1~.~'Vay Pedestal Assembly, Directional Letter and.Block Number <br />on all sides - X9.30 each. Same as above, but without block <br />numbers - X8.50 each. In lots of 50 or more signs. For less <br />than 50, add X1.00 more per sign. <br />Mr. Kistler stated that he would guarantee delivery within ~.5 days. He <br />would also i'urnish a sample sign for their approval. <br />Motion on purchase of signs was withheld pending inspection of sample signs. <br />The Mayor presented a City street map with 5e locations marked far street <br />', signs far Couunission approval. After careful study, motion was made by <br />Pfeiffer, second by Rigby, approving the locations. <br />Carried. <br />The Commission unana.mously approved and adopted the follyring policy on <br />future sewer extensions: <br />1. Cross all streets on sewage. <br />2. 1221 maximum shall be run far each sewer connection made. <br />3. All lines must extend to center of building location (51 variation <br />allowed). <br />~.. City participation shall be only on 6" and 8" collect ion lines, <br />except on street crossings. <br />5. In no case shall the City pay more th an one-half of cost, e~ <br />elusive of the t ~ fee. <br />6. Increase tap fee to $25.00. <br />The Mayor presented a petition signed try a n~nber of residents in the Sylvan <br />Beach area, requesting the City to male sevrer facilities available to them. <br />No funds being availai~le at present f'or this. work, petition was tabled far <br />further study. <br />Supt. of Public Works ~T. A. Arth~m requested Commissioner's permission to <br />ask for bids on repairing tractor-dozier. <br />Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby granting Mr. Arthur 1 s request. <br />Carried. <br />
