The h.2ayor read a letter from the La Forte Insurance .~I;ency, in ti~rhicll the City was notified that they had been given a major credit, d?~ to their excellent loss record during the past several years on their P.L. and P.D.Insurance Policy, or for a savings of "~L~57,56. It was the consensus of opinion of the Commission rather than amply tlv.s credit, to '~~orkmen' s Compensation Ins urance for it's employees, to apply this credit to Social Security Insurance, ti^~hen the City becomes eligible. The I~2ayor read a letter from the State Highway Depastmerrt, in connection with regulations of signs overhanging St-ate highways. The Commission handed this matter to Special Counsel Jahn S. Kiibler to exatuine agreements made by the City ~vith the State lligliway l~partment on street .signs . .~l discussion ;vas held on contemplated s~°,~<r improvements, also on the City's water supply. The Commission unanimously instructed the City Clerk to barite to i~.2r. Idauxice Latiolais, and request him to immedi ately remove building i;hat he recently attached to building located at 823 :rest 1',".ain Street.
