D. Bl~' gin, <br />with the fo11a!r3.ng members and city officials present: Commissioners L. R. Rigby <br />and H. P. Pfeiffer Special Counsel Jno. S. Kiibler, Supt. of Public Works W.A. <br />Arthur and City Clerk Frank G. Baker. <br />Minutes of the last meetir~ were read and approved. <br />Carried, <br />Also present were Mr. Pritchard, Frank Boyle, Douglas Boyle, Walter Springall, <br />Chief of Police Lowery and Judge George Counts, <br />Mr. Boyle presented a plan whereby City and Fire Department participate in home <br />receivers or monitors. Commissicn~ Pfeiffer will report back to Commission on <br />this matter on Sept ember 9, 195?. <br />~, Pritchard, with the Addressograph Machine Compa~r, presented a proposal to <br />the City for equipment pertaining to tax. <br />The Com~i.ssion requested that signs be placed in School zone between the hours <br />of 7:30 A. M, and 1:30 P. M,, at 20 miles per hour. <br />Motion by Pfeiffer, secorxi by Rigby that City purchase Typeograph from Mr, <br />Kiibler, far $350.00• <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby: that City construct sidewalk from Main, on <br />Second to Houstan Natural Gas Company building, on owner participation. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby that the meeting a:d~ourn, <br />Carried. <br />ATTEST: <br />G. r, er o e n, Mayes of City A ' ~ Porte <br />City of La Porte, Texas T~~ <br />
