L, <br />Pitman, City Clerk Frank G. Baker, and City Inspector Art Janssen. <br />Also present were Jim Holley (Press), J. 0. Rollins, Gould Crofoot~-Doug Boyle. <br />Minutes of the last regular and sx~ecial meetings were read and approved. <br />Carried. <br />The following sewer extension bids were opened and read aloud: <br />(1} 345' of 10" Sewer 8' Deep -------------------- X536.30 <br />533'of 8" Sewer 6' Deep -------------------- 692.90 <br />4 Prefabricated manholes ____________________ 100.00 <br />Refinish road surface 20.00 <br />1,3 9. 0 <br />Completion date - 2 weeks. <br />Submitted by Bayshore Construction Company. <br />(2) ti^te propose to furnish all labor and equipment to install 346' <br />of 10" pipe to be put in place at a depth of 8t ~h two pre- <br />fabricated manholes to be placed, <br />533' of 6" pipe to be put in place at a depth of 6'wi.th two <br />prefabricated manholes to be placed, <br />Furnish labor and equipment for repairing street crossings. <br />UVork to be completed in 20 working days, <br />For the sum of Twenty Two Hundred Dollars 02,200.00). <br />Submitted by L. "Sonny" Mc Key. <br />Motion by Osburr,, second by Stabs, that the Bayshore Construction Company be <br />awarded the contract to construct the sewer line to Block 165, on the basis <br />of low bid of X1.,349.20. <br />Carried. <br />N~.otion by Stabs, second by Osborn, that the City invest X50,000.00 (5 - X10,000 <br />Certificates) from Interest & Sinking Fund at 3~, 6 Mo. with First State Baxik <br />of La Forte. <br />Carried. <br />
