During the meeting several recommendations <br />for changes and clarification of the Zoning Ordinance ('Ordinance <br />620 )` were approved:. <br />The I,a. Porte. Pl^.nning and Zoning Commission make. these <br />recommendations;A <br />1- The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission recommends <br />to the La Porte City Commission that a 'building set back line <br />1D0 feet south of "'J'"'Street be required from the Railroad <br />Tracks to Sylvan Beach Park to provide for the extension of the <br />Fairmont Parkway. <br />2.- The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission recommends <br />to the La Porte City Commission that the west half of Block 411i <br />be zoned "B'"'Co~~ercial ar Local Retail District and that. the <br />west: half of Hlock 417 be rezoned from "D"Single Family Dwelling <br />District to "g'k~ Commercial or T;ocal Retail District. <br />3.- The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission recommends <br />to the La Porte City Commission that the Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance <br />620 ) be clarified to show the zoning as "'$"'Commercial or Local <br />Retail District, the west halves of Bloeks,.109, 132: 133, 156, <br />1'57,. 1$0, 1109, 1123, 1158,. 1432, and 1`x-38 as indicated in the <br />Official Abproved A~inutes of the September 28, 1960 meeting <br />of the La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />~,- the La Forte Planning and Zoning Commission recommends <br />to the La Porte City Co>r_mission that: the Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance <br />620 )' be clarified to show the zoning of Block 20 and the west <br />halves of Blocks 5, 1'16, and 125. as "`C1t'Single Family Dwelling <br />District and the east halves of Blocks 5„ 116:,.. and 125 as n~n~ <br />dingle Family Dwelling District as indicated in the Official_ <br />A~^proved Minutes of the I,a Porte Planning and Zoning Commission'. <br />The La Porte Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, <br />Elsie oore,,. airma <br />e 1 ~.. $g , S cretary <br />~~~~ <br />
