Commissioner Dunham made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Stabs, that the City Clerk be authorized to with- <br />draw fifty thousand dollars ($ 50 000.00), plus interest drawn, <br />from the City's account (No. 1050] in Bayshore Savings and Loan, <br />La Porte, Texas; and to apply same to the fifty thousand dollar <br />($ 50000.00) Note held by the La Porte State Bank, Motion <br />carried. <br />~ ~ ~ <br />~. <br /> <br />WITHDRAWAL OF <br />SAVINGS FROM <br />BAYSHORE SA~TINGS <br />AND LOAN <br />13. Commissioner Dunham made a motion; seconded by PURCHASE OF <br />Commissioner Brown, that the City Clerk be authorized to purchase CALCULATOR <br />a Marchant Calculator at five hundred twenty-five dollars, <br />($ 525.00), to be paid as follows: $ 8l~.00 down and $ 89.25 <br />each month, for five (5) months. Motion made by Commissioner Brown, seconded by <br />Commissioner Dunham, that the Equalization Board for 1962 be <br />formulated with the following appointed as members thereof: <br />Frank G. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Brown, that the following Resolution be passed <br />authorizing the City to borrow the sum of eight thousand, seven <br />hundred dollars ($ 8,700.00) from the La Porte State Bank in <br />order to re-new the note on the balance owing on the 1960 Model <br />International Fire Truck. Motion carried. (Resolution No. 1-62 <br />filed in Resolution Book). <br />~ ~ ~ <br />16. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Brown that a Resolution be passed, authorizing <br />the City to borrow one thousand six hundred one dollars and <br />thirteen cents ($ 1601.13) from the La Porte State Bank in <br />order to re-new the note on the balance owing on the 1961 <br />Model B275 International Diesel Tractor.
