17. <br />It was suggested by the Mayor that the ordinance <br />affecting appointments be amended to include these appointments, <br />and suggested that the amendment be prepared for the next <br />c®mmission meeting. <br />~ ~ „= <br />8. City Engineer Smith reported that the water and AUTHORIZATION OF <br />sewer line construction by De Angelo Construction C®mpany was PAYMENT ($11515.35) <br />completed, and requested that the Invoice from De Angelo Con- T,~ DE ANGELO <br />struction Company, in the am®unt of four thousand five hundred CONST. CO. <br />fifteen dmllars and thirty-five cents ($ 4,515.35) be paid. <br />~- ~- # <br />9. City Engineer Smith reported on progress being TIME SURVEY ON <br />made in the "Time Survey" of garbage pick-up services, and, that GARUAGE PICK-UP <br />the survey would be completed within another week. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer reiterated the importance of the <br />survey being sufficient to insure accuracy before being incor- <br />porated in an ordinance amendment, <br />~ ~ ~ <br />10. Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded by PURCHASE OF <br />Commissioner Dunham, and carried, that the purchase of one ADDITIONAL WATER <br />thousand (1000} feet of 11" pipe, five hundred (500) feet of plpE FOR STOCK <br />2" pipe and one thousand 1000) feet of 3/I~" pipe be ratified. <br />~,~ ~ ~ <br />11. Commissioner Dunham reported that the summer REPORT ON SUMMER <br />recreati®n pr~-gram was almost finished and had been successful. RECREATIONAL PRO- <br />He especially commended the Swim Team on their efforts and G~q <br />awards they had won. <br />He also suggested that we check with other <br />cities in regard to Building Permits for shopping centers <br />and rather large building projects to see how our charges <br />compare. <br />The City Clerk was instructed to make a <br />survey and report back to the City C©mmission. <br /># # # <br />12. C©mmissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by APPOINTMENT OF <br />Commissioner Brown, and carried, that Mr. Floyd Hearon be FLOYD HEARON FOR <br />appointed Auxiliary Patrolman. AUX.
