Motion made by Commissioner Osburn, seconded <br />by Commissioner Brown, that a policy on street paving, curb <br />and gutter, be established as follows: (Policy not to apply <br />to Sub-Division.) <br />On existing paved streets, the City will <br />extend paving to curb and gutter; the property owner to bear <br />the expense of curb and gutter, which must be built to City's <br />specifications. <br />New streets: City will install curb and gutter; <br />Property owners will bear expense of street paving which must <br />be constructed according to City's Specifications. Motion was made by Commissioner Osborn, seconded <br />by Commissioner Brown, that the City Engineer be authorized to <br />purchase twenty-four (2!G) 5/8" water meters anc~ one 2".meter <br />at an approximate cost of eight hundred dollars ($ 800.00); <br />three thousand (3,000) feet of 2" pipe and one thousand (1,000) <br />feet of 1" pipe, at an approximate cost of two thousand six <br />hundred twenty-eight dollars andtwenty cents ($ 2,628.20). <br />Motion carried. <br />~ ~ ~ <br />New Policy on <br />Construction of <br />Curb & Gutter <br />Authorization to <br />purchase additional <br />Water Meters & Pipe <br />7. Commissioner Osborn made a motion, seconded by Lawler Water Line <br />Commissioner atabs, that the City be authorized to expend not <br />more than two thousand five hundred dollars ($ 2,500.00), as its <br />part on the "Lawler Water Line", provided that satisfactory <br />arrangements can be made as to use of the water.
