95. • • Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Baker, that the bids be tabled for further study and consideration. Motion carried. 3. Mr. James Martin, local manager of the Houston Lighting and Power Company, appeared before the Commission with information that La Porte had been changed from "Area 2 Rate Schedule" to "Area 1 Rate Schedule", which results in a decrease in the minimum rate for users from ~ 1.50 to ,~ 1.20. A proposed Ordinance was presented to affect the new rate schedule. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by ORDINANCE N0. 680 Commissioner Shepherd, that Ordinance No. 680 be passed. RE: APPROVAL OF Motion carried. Caption follows: RATE CHANGE CF N.L. & P.
