<br />as "District", and MACHINE RECORDS, INC., a Texas Corporation, with its principal office in Corpus Christi, Nueces
<br />County, Texas, hereinafter referred to as "MRI";

<br />with authority to levy and collect taxes; and .
<br />WHEREAS, it is necessazy that each year the said District prepare, or cause to be prepared, a tax roll and tax
<br />statements; and
<br />WHEREAS, Machine Records, Inc. is in the busines of preparing, or causing to be prepared, tax rolls and statements
<br />and various documents necessary to various tax offices; and
<br />WHEREAS, 'the said District desires to acquire the services of MRI for such purposes:
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the terms and conditions herein contained and payments to be made
<br />as herein provided, the parties hereto agree as follows:

<br />MRI agrees, at its sole cost and expense, to ~. District" the following:
<br />A. One IBM machine printed proof list and a formal tax roll for the year....g~A., and each subsequent yeaz during
<br />the term of this contract. Such tax roll will list all property in .$i~._H~.O,~.a...i~~t~.j,0.8------•_.order and
<br />will include an account number, name, address, description, value, and amount of tax for each description, and '
<br />total tax for each account.

<br />II.
<br />District agrees to furnish to MRI, in writing, all information necessary for the production of the said tax statements
<br />and tax roll. District further agrees to make available for inspection to MRI all official records, documents, and/or
<br />instruments in its custody which may be of assistance to MRI in the production of the said tax roll and/or tax statements.
<br />III.
<br />MRI agrees'to furnish to the District a proof copy of the tax roll within sixty (60) days after the rapt of all
<br />necessary information furnished by District. MRI further agrees to deliver to the District, within thirty (30) days after .
<br />receipt of the District's approval or corrections of the proof copy of the tax roll, together with a written copy of the ap-
<br />plicable tax rate,, the final copies of the printed tax roll and tax statements.
<br />IV.
<br />MRI agrees to provide all cards, whin ,panels, and other IBM machine materials required to complete this contract,a

<br />V. >~ ta~ot~aEals
<br />It is mutually agreed that all IBM cards are the property of MRI and that the same shall not be construed as end
<br />items of this contract,. provided, however, MRI hereby rants an o tion to District to buy all such IBM cards from MRI
<br />for the additional sum of...~P.~1'..11~'.11~_.~__~_~..~.~Qs~Q~._~~.ILtr~ ........................... In this connection, pending
<br />District's exercise of this option to buy, MRI shall provide reasonable storage and maintenance facilities for such IBM
<br />cards.
<br />VI.
<br />This agreement shall be effective as of the.-~~~_-.day of_.-__.... ._ ..~.._........, 19.6'3, and shall remain in full
<br />force and effect for a period of one year, and thereafter from year to eaz until one party shall give the other party six
<br />months' prior written notice of its decision to terminate this agreement.

<br />roll, statements, and listings.

<br />It is mutually agreed that this contract is not binding upon MRI until accepted in writing by its president at its home
<br />office in Corpus Christi, Texas.
<br />IX.
<br />The parties hereto have read the terms of this contract before signing the same and hereby agree that no statement,
<br />remark, agreement, or understanding, oral or written, not contained herein, will be recognized or enforced.
